Cosplayers listen to a wide variety of music, as their preferences are as diverse as their costumes. Many cosplayers enjoy music from the genres of anime, video games, and J-pop, as these genres often inspire the characters and themes that they portray. Additionally, cosplayers may also listen to music that complements the specific character they are cosplaying, such as rock or metal for more intense characters, or pop and dance music for more lighthearted and colorful characters. Ultimately, the music preferences of cosplayers are as varied as the characters they bring to life. **
